Prom season is a busy time! We recommend reserving your marquee letters for prom as early as possible – ideally 2-3 months in advance of your prom date. Many schools reach out in the winter for spring proms. That said, we often can accommodate last-minute requests if our letters are available. No worries at all. We’ve worked with every type of venue. If 7-foot prom letters are too tall for your space, such as venues with lower ceilings or hanging fixtures, we can switch to our 4-foot marquee letters. They still look amazing in photos and light up beautifully, just on a slightly smaller scale. We’ll review venue details with you in advance and can coordinate with the venue if needed to plan the best setup. Our goal is to make the letters fit your space while still delivering a big wow factor.

Yes, we take care of everything. You don’t have to lift a finger (or a letter!). Our team will coordinate a convenient setup time with you or the venue – usually a couple of hours before prom starts, or earlier in the day if the venue allows. It generally takes us about 30-60 minutes to load in and set up a basic “PROM” display. If we’re doing a more elaborate setup with extras (like a backdrop, multiple words, etc.), it could be around 90 minutes. We build that time into our schedule.

After the event, we typically take everything down right after prom ends (unless other arrangements are made). Takedown is quicker – about half an hour – and we’ll quietly remove the letters while everyone’s saying their goodbyes or while cleanup is happening. Rest assured, we’ll leave the venue as we found it (actually, probably cleaner – we tidy up any cords or tape from the floor). So, to sum up: we do all the heavy lifting and technical work; you and your committee can just enjoy the results!

This is a great question (and one the school administrators might ask!). Safety is our top priority. Our marquee letters for prom use LED bulbs, which stay cool to the touch – no heat, so no risk of burns or fire hazard. Each letter has a sturdy base, and when needed, we secure them with sandbags (discreetly hidden) to ensure they won’t tip over, even if someone accidentally bumps into one while dancing.
