How high does the ceiling need to be for 7ft marquee letters?
Plan for a ceiling of at least 10 feet with a little room to spare above the letters. Ballrooms, barns, convention halls, and outdoor lawns usually have plenty of clearance. If you are not sure about your room, send us photos or a floor plan and we will tell you whether 7ft letters will look balanced in the space.
What words look best spelled in 7ft letters?
Short words carry the most impact at this size. LOVE, GRAD, a couple's initials, a class year, and short last names all read clearly from across a room. Longer names and full phrases usually fit better in 4ft letters, and we are happy to suggest ways to shorten a phrase when you send it with your quote request.
Will 7ft letters fit through our venue's doors and hallways?
Tell us about the route from the parking area to the room when you request a quote, including freight elevators or stairs, narrow gates, historic doorways, and steep slopes. Our crew does all of the moving and lifting, and those details let us plan the load-in so setup goes smoothly on event day.
Are 7ft marquee letters used outdoors?
Yes. Lawns, fields, rooftops, and farms are some of the best spots for 7ft letters, as long as the weather is safe. We do not set up in heavy rain, strong winds, or other unsafe conditions, so we recommend keeping an indoor backup plan for outdoor events.
What bulb colors are available for 7ft letters?
